Your involvement with the Florida Legislature does not begin and end with the vote you cast on election day.

It is your right and your responsibility to let your legislators know how you feel about issues that affect you, your family, and your community.

It is imperative that citizens make their elected officials aware of their opinions. You can do this by contacting your Representative and Senator in their district offices or in Tallahassee. Local numbers for your officials are listed in the telephone directory.

You Can Get Involved By...
• Visiting your local legislative offices. Get to know the people who are representing your interests in the Florida Legislature.
• Calling your legislators. Let them know what issues are important to you and why.
• Writing to your legislators. Ask or tell them about legislation that will make Florida a better place for you and your family.
